Challenge:
Customer was a real estate developer who wanted to turn an abandoned sand and gravel quarry into an upscale residential community with all sports lake. Many thousands of yards of fill would be required to rebuild the bank and shoreline. Trucking it in would be cost prohibitive.

Solution:
Excavate the bottom of the lake which filled in the abandoned quarry and reclaim the rich fill that lay at the bottom. This was a daunting task, but thorough careful planning and our automation expertise a computer controlled float/winch system was devised to carefully monitor the consistency of slurry being pumped from the bottom. The job site ran for three years 16hrs a day virtually without a major failure.
